"My family has relocated to Taupo & would like to recognize the Rapids Jet Boating adventure as one of superb business & customer service practices. Most people write to complain about a business however, I think more people should tell how great & wonderful a business is. As newcomers to the area we decided to venture out & give the Rapids Jet adventure a go. I must commend the staff on their level of professionalism & customer service expertise while maintaining safety as a priority. It was not only the most fun we have had here but gazza (owner& operator) of the business made it educational as well. He explained about the local dam operations & the power it supplies. He made note of the ancient Maori lands in the area & supplied information on the local movie industry & filming of Yogi Bear movie produced in the region. As well as the fact that we were cruising in a new state of the art 500hp jet boat that Rapids Jet built themselves. I must say it is very rare that tourist operations make sure people are educated about the local region & provide an outstanding experience for the whole family.
