Rapids Jet operates every day except xmas day from our river office on Rapids road Aratiatia, just 12 kms north of Taupo.

Currently our trips depart to coincide with the release of water from the Aratiatia dam, 4 times per day. You will need to be at the Rapids Jet riverside office a quarter of an hour before your trip departs at:

 10:00am
 12:00pm (noon)
  2:00pm and
  4:00pm.

These times are subject to change, due to the level of demand, daylight saving, or as weather conditions dictate. In winter, trips are scheduled to run in the afternoons only.

We are very competitively priced, a 35 minute Rapids Jet white water action ride will cost you only $85 for adults and $45 for children (child rate is 5-15 years and children must be over 1 metre tall).

Please bring with you warm clothing and a good waterproof jacket to ensure maximum comfort on the cooler days. We can provide you with a waterproof coat if you wish.
