Who can ride our Jet Boats
Anyone aged 5 years and over can ride on Rapids Jet.
Children need to be 1 metre tall (please note: the ride is unsuitable for under 5’s) to ride in our jet boats. Since 1993, over 140,000 passengers aged 5-89 years have safely experienced the thrill of real white water jet boating with Rapids Jet.
The ride is an experience for people of all fitness levels. Whilst passengers can expect some spray off the water the Rapids Jet has high sides to keep the water out of the boat. The jet boat has a superior strength ’V’ bottom allowing for a smooth ride through the waves. This means that the rapids are big, but the ride is soft.
Rapids Jet has three rows of padded seating which provide awesome views, and heated handrails for your comfort. The boats can carry 11 adult passengers or 14 children passengers plus the driver.
Life jackets and spray jackets are provided. Reservations are advisable but not essential. Rapids Jet is open 364 days of the year, closed only on Christmas Day.
