As a result of the latest restrictions and alert levels advised by the New Zealand Government, we have made the decision to temporarily close Rapids Jet.
Closure is effective from this morning – Monday 23 March, 2020.
This in in an effort to ensure the health and safety of our staff, our guests and the wider community.
In terms of guests booked with Rapids Jet over coming days, our reservations team are making contact and working through all bookings held.
We are saddened by this necessary decision. But we know it will be temporary.
During this challenging time, we are thinking of all of our industry partners, of your families and our entire wider global community.
We will review the current situation daily and weekly.
We will work together with our people, our industry, our government and community partners to manaaki (care for, look after) one another.
And, when the time is right, Rapids Jet will be ready!
